July 2, 2026On April 21 and 22, the 2nd Gaia-X Spain Summit took place at the Palacio de Congresos in Toledo, bringing together more than 350 professionals and 120 speakers over the two days. The event has established itself as the leading gathering in Spain for the deployment of data spaces, showcasing strategies, use cases, and best practices for such deployments.On the second day of the event, April 22, EINSA presented the VALIA project, which involves the development of a data space planner for the material handling equipment manufacturing industry. The presentation took place as part of an industry data spaces track, where it became clear that numerous industrial sectors are interested in streamlining their value chains through integration into federated data spaces.In developing VALIA, EINSA is collaborating technologically with the company Tinámica and the Technological Institute of Castile and León, and is receiving European funding from the Next Generation funds through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan. July 24, 2025Over the last decade, significant changes have occurred in the civil and military handling sector that have altered the competitive conditions of the sector. The entry of new competitors from countries with little prior manufacturing presence, the concentration of production in a few manufacturers, recurring procurement problems in the supply chain, and the new role of technology as a key factor in competitiveness have led numerous manufacturers to modify their operating models, deploying systematic new product development processes and scaling up production in some product families, including the management of much larger warehouses. In this effort to adapt manufacturers to the new sector dynamics, EINSA has automated its development, production, and maintenance processes, increased storage space, and incorporated digital technologies into its operations. However, one aspect that was not covered was the need for intelligent industrial processes, which would allow for improvements in efficiency, standardization, and quality, as well as savings in energy, raw materials, and time. In this context, the company plans to automate some of its development and production processes using software robotics, as well as incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems with AI algorithms. Specifically, in early 2025, EINSA has carried out a project aimed at including AI algorithms in two engineering and design processes and in a process map production process, through three interrelated subprojects. Based on the results achieved, at a TRL-6 prototype level, it will be possible to improve the efficiency of the affected processes for the development and design of new equipment, as well as improve their manufacturing efficiency and productivity. To take on this technological challenge, the technological center Fundación Instituto Tecnológico de Castilla y León (ITCL) has collaborated, with its extensive experience in this field. The scope of the project included three subprojects: efficient management of technical drawings using Augmented Language Models (LLMs), digitization of physical parts in 3D environments, and computer vision using deep learning algorithms for production efficiency. Smart Chatbot for Technical Offices | Plan Search and Automatic Management in the ERP We present an artificial intelligence-based solution designed to optimize processes in technical offices. This tool, integrated with language models (LLM), allows drawing searches using natural language, eliminating the need to know the internal structure of the ERP. 3D Scanning: Hyperrealistic Models from Video We present an innovative solution in the field of advanced visual scanning. Through a streamlined and intuitive process, it’s possible to convert a simple video of an object into a hyper-realistic 3D model, facilitating remote inspection, technical communication, and visual access to product information. Real-time image processing for smart factories We’re introducing our real-time image processing system, designed for smart factories. It incorporates a multi-camera system that allows for monitoring the entire production line and responding effectively to any situation, ensuring a rapid response in critical cases. It allows for greater control over the distribution of tasks between different workstations through proactive alert systems. Additionally, the system can be used to alert operators who are in hazardous areas or who are not wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), thus contributing to a safer work environment. January 28, 2025The INVECPRO project has a dual objective: on the one hand, the design of an autonomous airport tractor vehicle that is 100% electric with an extended hydrogen (H₂) range, representing the first prototype of a new generation of high value-added ground support equipment (GSE). This airport towing tractor is capable of combining advanced electrification, operational autonomy, and autonomous driving, meeting the stringent functional, regulatory, and safety requirements of the aerospace environment. On the other hand, the project also undertakes the digitalization of the production process through the development of a production planner supported by a digital twin, with time tracking to plan and simulate manufacturing tasks. May 18, 2020Einsa contributes with its Technology and Industrial capacity to the disinfection of COVID19 EINSA manufactures state-of-the-art fire fighting equipment capable of efficiently tackling high-powered flames in commercial and military enclosures or Navy ships. In collaboration with the UME, our company has provided and modified some of said equipment, so that the pump and other pressure control elements serve to project sanitizing liquid, with which to disinfect some essential facilities from the coronavirus. The figures below show the Equipment / vehicle operating in different parts of Merca Madrid   The VRAC or Self-Propelled Fire Tug Vehicle is an Equipment designed and manufactured by EINSA for the efficient extinction of fires that may arise in the Juan Carlos I aircraft carrier or other Navy ships. It has several foam concentrate tanks as well as an adjustable launcher located at the front and capable of projecting foam concentrates or AFFFs up to 30 meters away.     The availability of a CAFS foam dispersion system with high efficiency and projection capacity, which is complemented by sprayers in the lower part of the vehicle, led to the inclusion of this Equipment in the Balmis operation to combat COVID 19 by the Spain navy Based on these elements, the VRAC was quickly and innovatively modified so that its tanks and spray pumps could house cleaning chemicals with which to contribute to the disinfection tasks of the Balmis operation. May 18, 2020EINSA contributes with its Technology and Industrial capacity to the fight against COVID 19 Since the coronavirus pandemic began in Spain, EINSA, like other companies with technological and industrial capacity, have tried to help, within their possibilities, Hospital and Organizations related to the health of Spaniards. In this news, the aid carried out to alleviate the deep lack of respirators that occurred in the hospitals of Spain during the month of March and beginning of April, is specifically described. EINSA has collaborated with the Príncipe de Asturias hospital, in Alcalá de Henares, supplying it with the brown tubular cross connection piece, which connects the oxygen extension with the mask, filter and PEP valve This connection has been made of polycarbonate of different colors (brown, white, red) in total quantities of up to 125 units, between March 22 and April 7     Different colors have depended on material availability. The additive manufacturing 3D printer of the previous image has been used, for the production intended in the preparation of prototypes, which is the regular procedure in R&D Projects and Technical Office work. The remaining images show the respirator as a whole, the deliveries during two days from the end of March, and the 3Dprinter manufacturing the red tubular connection.   [...]
December 15, 2019During the pase month of December, EINSA joined the Induciencia technological platform. This platform makes up a structured and industry-led forum, in which all the agents concerned in the Equipment for Science Sector particípate and collaborate, with the aim of jointly defining the objectives of research and technological development in the medium and long term. It happens with a clear orientation towards the preparation of projects and prototypes. Membership in Induciencia will allow EINSA, to participate in working groups and decision-making forums on technological policies and industrial programs, related to the areas and segments represented on the platform: Particle Physics, Fusion, Astrophysics and Space Sciences, Energy and ICTs and Engineering and Infrastructures for Large Scientific Facilities. EINSA’s experience in technologies related to the aerospace sector has been a key point for accepting this incorporation As a result of this action and during the current year 2020, EINSA will participate in different international congresses and meetings, including the TRANSFIERE 2020 forum (February 12 and 13, Malaga), and the MEDSI 2020 International conference (Chicago, 13 to 17 of July). October 28, 2019During the past month of October, EINSA presented the innovations of its ground operation equipment, being simultaneous with the Inter Airport Europe Fair in Munich. This fair charters one of the most important events in the Ground Handling Sector worldwide, since it covers the entire range of products and technologies related to this activity. The equipment which have been presented are Tow Tractors, Passenger Stairs and Baggage Tapes. EINSA’s technological development capacity has enabled the tractor to be equipped with a dual-flow alternator with high efficiency, high stability and low harmonic distortion, as seen in the below picture. In this way the tractor acquires the double functionality of pull in Vehicles and supply of electrical energy to the aircraft, as well. [...]
September 27, 2019  Last September the EINSA Ultrafast Light Vehicle was presented during the London DSEI Fair. This fair is one of the most important events in the Defense Sector, and is held every two years in the London Docklands. The NETON model ultra light vehicle is the result of a significant technological effort by EINSA, to provide it with features of ergonomics, versatility, speed and operability; as consequence is having already being tested by various bodies of the Armies. Part of these advances is made by adaptive damping, with the capacity to accommodate diverse loads to different terrain topographies. In the photo above the vehicle is presented at the stand of the Israelian manufacturer Uvisión, in a configuration for military transport, which incorporates two of the launchers of this company.
