On April 21 and 22, the 2nd Gaia-X Spain Summit took place at the Palacio de Congresos in Toledo, bringing together more than 350 professionals and 120 speakers over the two days. The event has established itself as the leading gathering in Spain for the deployment of data spaces, showcasing strategies, use cases, and best practices for such deployments.
On the second day of the event, April 22, EINSA presented the VALIA project, which involves the development of a data space planner for the material handling equipment manufacturing industry. The presentation took place as part of an industry data spaces track, where it became clear that numerous industrial sectors are interested in streamlining their value chains through integration into federated data spaces.
In developing VALIA, EINSA is collaborating technologically with the company Tinámica and the Technological Institute of Castile and León, and is receiving European funding from the Next Generation funds through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
